Rocamadour belongs to the cabécou family. It is, or has also been, called “cabécou de Rocamadour”.
This raw-milk cheese is produced in the Quercy, and the “rocamadour” designation alone is protected thanks to an AOC since 1995. This designation originates from the commune of Rocamadour in the department of Lot.
