Ah well, yes!
It is full of colour—violet-blue and azure—warm and bright. It is a little corner of paradise, and you find that taste of eternity in this cheese. Its name comes from a small village set against the Plateau d’Albion between the Montagne de Lure and Mont Ventoux, in the hills dear to Jean Giono. Banon is matured in brown chestnut leaves, tied with natural raffia. It has held AOC status since 2003. Cream-coloured with golden hues, it is a delight for the taste buds.
